HIDDEN TREASURES

When you hire Downsizing Diva Durham, you can rest knowing that your lost or hidden valuables will be found and returned!

During Home and Estate Clear-Outs, we frequently discover items that family members have missed. This oversight may be due to a lack of awareness about their value or because they were placed in secure locations. It’s worth noting that individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease often hide belongings out of fear of theft or for a sense of security. Rest assured, we will locate these items and keep them safe for you.

Items we have found:

  1. A roll of $20s tucked into a stack of decorative bathroom towels.

  2. A large sum of money hidden under a bathroom sink.

  3. Two cases of collectible vintage silver dollar coins buried in the back of a storage unit in a box marked books.

  4. Diamond rings and gold jewelry!  We carry a diamond tester and jeweller’s loop to check to make sure your “costume jewelry” is just that, so the finer items make their way back into the family’s hands.

  5. An extremely large collection of new-in-the-box vintage Mini Cabbage Patch Dolls from 1964 hidden in a box marked Christmas decor.

  6. A signed vintage Christian Dior brooch.
